A Life in Pixels

I photographed a wonderful, fun couple named Alyssa and Brent the weekend before last. It is so enjoyable to shoot weddings with people as welcoming as relaxed as Alyssa and Brent and their entire wedding party were.  They had a small wedding in La Porte and a great reception at Minute Maid Park.  Here are a  few samples of their happy day.

staying with a dining room theme

I must admit that I love the gear-lenses, lights, cameras, computers. I also love a bargain (just ask the little lady). So I look for a marriage of the two when I am hunting for new equipment. I’ve purchased several items from Amvona, which offers lights, support,etc. at a reasonable price. It ain’t the sturdiest stuff ever, but it doesn’t break the first time you use it like some bargain bin gear does either. Having a film background, I am partial to continuous lighting- I like to see what I am getting at all times. I just checked their site and I am curious about their new daylight balanced lights

I do not have a complete light kit at this point and 1 or 2 of these might fit in nicely.
